Here are some field tests that were conducting in the field by my colleagues and I. The main point of interest was the gloves being marketed by Midwest tongs. They are made from super fabric by a company called HexArmor and can be ordered from the link above this

PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE TEST’S, DO NOT REPEAT ATTEMPT TO TRY THIS YOURSELF

The gloves are designed to be another layer between yourself and animals, not to make you bite proof.

We tested them to their limits to see how far we could push them before they fail... and as of now, no failure. 8 countries, over 30 species of venomous snakes and even a 4.5 meter Natal Rock Python.

Adult Puff adder (Bitis arietans) lands multiple bites to the gloves, zero penetration, last photo is venom on the glove

Adult Forest Cobra (Naja melanoleuca), around 7 feet, chewed on gloves, zero penetration

Dreaded Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis), zero penetration

The almost impossible to handle and deadly Small Scaled Stiletto Snake (Atractaspis fallax), cannot penetrate the GOP

Thanks to Dave Northcott, F.Santana and K.VanSooy for pics

We also tested other pieces of Midwest equipment, and they are impeccable. I highly recommend their entire line.
